“You can bite but never chew”
DON’T TRY TO COPY THIS.
You might choke.
You’ll never be able to digest it—let alone embody the vision.
You might be able to bite, but you’ll never chew.
This is for all the dogs—ready for war.
I feel like a mutt, doing whatever art requires… for a second time.
What it means:
This caption uses visceral, aggressive language to express a feeling of artistic defiance. While others may try to imitate our work or aesthetic (“bite”), they lack the depth, dedication, or raw instinct to truly understand or carry it (“chew”). It’s a warning: copying the surface won’t give you the soul.
The second part—“for all the dogs… I feel like a mutt”—is a salute to those loyal to the grind. The ones who make sacrifices for their craft. Calling myself a “mutt” reflects humility and grit; I’m not purebred or privileged—but I’m tenacious, experienced, and unbreakable. And I’m going through it all a second time, willingly, for art. That’s a direct reference to Whatever Art Requires II, also known as WAR II.
The Bigger Picture
This isn’t just about a hoodie. It’s about setting boundaries. About reclaiming what’s mine. About drawing the line between inspiration and theft.
“You can bite, but never chew” became personal after I saw my work being treated like a template—something to replicate, dilute, and resell. Two companies approached me. Not to collaborate. Not to elevate. But to bite what I’ve spent years building. One even asked me to recreate my Filthy Hoodie under their brand. I fulfilled my obligation once—but when the second tried, I had to say no.
That moment reminded me of what Frank Ocean did with Endless—a contractual, calculated move to escape a system trying to own his art. What followed was Blonde—raw, untouchable, transcendent. That’s what this drop is for me. My Blonde moment. The final act before real freedom. A statement. No compromises. No cosigns.
And now, I’m pouring everything into WAR II—the sequel to my first-ever collection, Whatever Art Requires. That name isn’t just a title. It’s how I live. It’s what I give. I’ve sacrificed for this. I’ve been the mutt in the alley, the underdog in the fight, doing whatever art requires—for a second time.
WAR II is coming. And it’ll say everything this industry tried to silence.
This capsule drop It’s just a taste, while I prepare the main course.
If you’ve made it this far—
If you’ve been rocking with me—
If you really get it...
This one’s for you.
For the loyal.
For the ones who know the difference between copying and creating.
